LATE CHECK-IN POLICY: Anything after 6 pm is a late check-in. there is a 150.00 USD late check in fee.
PAYMENT METHODS:
We accept Credit Card (Visa, Discover & Mastercard) and Check. You may pay by credit card when booking on our website OR select “Check” as the payment method when booking. Checks must be received within ten (10) business days. Paypal is also accepted.
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS:
An advance payment of 50% of total rental fee is required to secure your reservation. Payment in US funds must be received by our office within ten (10) business days of the reservation confirmation, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. (Exception: For all Christmas, New Years (December 20th to January 3rd) and American Thanksgiving (November 20 to 27th) a 50% deposit is required and balance is due 60 days prior to arrival).
If your reservation is less than 30 days from the booking date full payment is due within seven (7) business days of confirmed reservation. A reservation confirmation will be sent via email containing all the deposit information. The reservation deposit is NOT a damage deposit.

SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSITS:
A $1,000.00 USD refundable security deposit is required 30 days prior to your arrival. As long as there is no damage or missing items and all keys are returned, this is given back to you in the same denomination within 7 days of your check-out. If you provide your security deposit by check, our policy is to shred the check if there are no damages. If any damages exceed your $1,000.00 USD deposit you will be required to pay before you leave the property.
Reasons a security deposit (or portion) may be kept: towels, linens, pillows, bedding, plates, glasses or any other expenses incurred by the renter. To be used for replacement of missing items and cleaning beyond normal expectations or any other expenses incurred by the renter.
LATE PAYMENTS:
A late fee of 10% per day will apply on the remaining balance. Please make payment early to avoid additional fees. If final payment is not made after 2 weeks, clients reservation is considered cancelled & dates will go back as available on the calendar. No refund will be provided. NO exceptions.
CANCELLATIONS:
In the event that you are required to cancel your reservation, you must do so 60 days before your arrival. Only 40% will be refunded, the other 60% is an administrative processing fee, which is non-refundable. Please be advised that reservations must be cancelled 60 days prior to your arrival otherwise full rental charges will be forfeited. There will be no refunds due to acts of God, nature, weather or weather related situations, mechanical failure, earthquake, and public health epidemic, fishing or golf conditions.
In the event of cancellation, it is at the owners discretion to allow you to reschedule and apply your deposit towards a future booking.
RATE CHANGES:
Rates subject to change without notice. Casa Corona is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
PROPERTY KEYS:
You will be issued 1 set of keys per room to Casa Corona upon check in. If more sets of keys are needed for your stay, please notify us by email to info@vallarta-getaways.com If keys are lost or not returned, the replacement keys will be charged to you at $20 USD per key and deducted from your Damage Deposit.
GRATUITY PROTOCOL:
It is customary in Puerto Vallarta for the property staff to receive a gratuity. The local suggested rate for maids, concierge/travel, and home maintenance manager (who may carry your bags, keep up the pool, sweeping gardening, furniture arranging, etc.) is $5 USD per day PER PERSON for the period of your stay. Envelopes will be left for your use… feel free to write a note to the staff.
PETS:
Pets may be allowed on a case by case basis. Please inquire when booking. No pets will be allowed without written permission prior to arrival.
RESTRICTIONS:
- The number of guests stipulated on the confirmation document is the maximum number of guests allowed to stay at the property. If more people arrive than stated on the confirmation document, they may be denied occupancy or an extra person charge of $50 per person, per night will apply. Tenants occupying the property will be responsible for any damages caused by the individual or their guests, to the property or its contents during their stay.
- Unlawful activities, including illegal drug use will not be tolerated. Noise curfews affecting nearby properties will be strictly enforced. If these policies are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and no refund will be given.
- NO JUMPING into the pool other than at pool level/pool side. Absolutely NO GLASS POOLSIDE. Casa Corona is equipped with plenty of plastic glasses and pitchers.
